The General Authority for Pensions and Social Insurance confirmed that all the funds spent for the beneficiaries are acquired rights, not financial grants or social assistance, and the role of the authority is to ensure these rights, which differs from the role of institutions that provide social assistance.

The authority stressed the need to rely only on its official and approved platforms to obtain the correct and accurate information and developments. She pointed out that the announcement of any initiatives is exclusively through its website or its official accounts on social media platforms.

The authority called for not to interact with unreliable links or messages related to the authority’s provision of financial grants, because it may be attempts to defraud or access the personal customer data.
