Brazil acknowledges a law to protect children on the Internet

The Brazilian Parliament passed a law that expands the obligations of digital platforms regarding the protection of shortcomings on social media platforms, and the Senate approved the draft law, a week after its approval in the House of Representatives, and the law will enter into force a year after the signing of the left president, Luis Inacio Lula Da Silva, and the law obliges the platforms to link the accounts of users under the age of 16 with accounts of their parents, the accounts of their parents, Parents will be able to control the parties with which their children interact with these networks, and under this law the platforms will also be obligated to “control the content that clearly aims to attract and restrict children, within the limits of their technical capabilities.”
