"Ladies of Umm Al Quwain "It celebrates Emirati Women’s Day

Umm Al -Quwain on August 29/ WAM/ The Business Women Council organized Umm Al -Quwain, under the patronage of the campus of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, Sheikha Sumaya bint Saqr Al Qasimi, the Emirati Social Economic Women Forum, in celebration of the Emirati Women’s Day “hand in hand we celebrate the fifty.”
His Excellency Aisha Rashid Leitim, member of the Federal National Council and President of the Women’s Businesswomen Council, in her speech, affirmed the pivotal role of women in supporting the national development process, noting that the UAE daughter has proven her presence in the fields of economics and entrepreneurship and contributed to building a society based on innovation and responsibility, and explained that the council is working to enable businesswomen through programs and initiatives that support the development of their projects Their contribution to the national economy, as well as their social role as a basic pillar in the development of family and society, in line with the vision and directives of the rational leadership.
Farida Abdullah Al -Awadi, head of the Emirates Business Women Council, stressed that Emirati women have proven their leadership in the economic and social development process of the state, as it became a pivotal partner in formulating a future based on innovation and sustainability.
She added that what has been achieved in the fields of investment and entrepreneurship reflects the wise leadership vision that provided women with all the elements of success.
A dialogue session entitled “foreseeing the role of Emirati women in the economic field” was also held, in which business lady Red Hamad Al Dhaheri, member of the Board of Directors of Lulu Retail and Member of the Electronic Sports Federation, and Dr. Amina Al -Majid, founder and head of the Women’s Association of the National Association, and the business leader Fatima Al -Rashed, the media and writer Sheikha Muhammad Al -Jabri, during which they reviewed their distinguished experiences in various economic and social fields, The signs of highlighting the role of Emirati women in supporting the development process and enhancing their position in the labor market.
The second session witnessed a presentation of successful models for Emirati women in Umm Al Quwain, presented by Sheikha Jamila bint Ibrahim Al Mualla and Dr. Sheikha Musabah Al Ali, where they reviewed pioneering projects that reflect women’s ambition and insistence on active participation in the economic and social renaissance.
As for the third session, during which Noura Al -Khayal, Assistant Director of Vocational Guidance for Students at the Faculty of Higher Technologies, presented the experience of Emirati women in the private sector and free entrepreneurship, reviewing inspiring stories for students of the world of financial and business with confidence, and was able to face challenges by creating practical solutions that helped the success of their projects.
She emphasized that these models embody the vital role of educational institutions in preparing an enabled generation of pioneering and practical skills, by providing a stimulating educational environment and advanced training programs that open up to the students wide horizons to engage efficiently in the labor market.
The forum was attended by His Excellency Mona Rashid Tahnoun, member of the Federal National Council, businesswomen and women leaders in local and governmental institutions in the emirate.
