Austria confirms its commitment to the policy of neutrality and the failure to seek to join NATO

The Austrian Foreign Ministry confirmed that there are no plans to join NATO membership or abandoning the policy of neutrality, stressing its support for a comprehensive and fair peace in Ukraine, and its willingness to host talks between Moscow and Kiev.

For her part, Austrian Defense Minister Claudia Tanner said that the issue of joining NATO is not on the discussion, noting that Austria’s commitment to defending its sovereignty and not allowing any extortion or external threat.
