"Sharjah libraries" Organize an evening "Sea and poetry songs" The Water Club of Kalba

Sharjah, on August 30 / WAM / Sharjah General libraries collected last night in the framework of its celebrations of the 100th anniversary of its founding and in the “facade of Kalba”, a group of poets, intellectuals and academics in an evening titled “Sea and Poetry Songs” in cooperation with the House of Poetry in the Culture Department to celebrate the memory of the place and the depth of the people of the Emirates’s association with the sea and poetry in the presence of a number of officials, academics and intellectuals.
The evening witnessed a diversified program that included a discussion session on criticism, rhetoric and the language of heritage in eloquent Arabic poetry, with the participation of the poets Abdullah Al -Hadia and Talal Salem Al -Sabri, in addition to reciting poems that illuminated on the aesthetics of the Emirati and Arabic poems and an artistic presentation of marine songs and marine poetry presented by the Fishermen Association in Kalba with the organization of the exhibition of holdings of the sea and hunting, the most prominent depth of the connection of the local community.
The poet Abdullah Al -Hadiya affirmed during the session that he considers himself the owner of a message bearing a creative and cognitive project that opens the doors of the past, the present and the future together to live the experience with what the vision and awareness provides to him, explaining that the huge cognitive quantity in this time may not leave the person an opportunity to capture his breath, but the owner of the message is able to express it at any time or tomorrow.
In turn, the poet Talal Salem Al -Sabri pointed out that this era is characterized by the speed of rhythm, as the moment is almost escaped from our hands while we are trying to seize it amid a tremendous dispersal imposed by multiple applications and dialogues that surround man in every direction, stressing that poetry by its nature is based on reduced meanings and semantic intensification, which requires the recipient to slow down and stand a long time when the text to discover his deep goals.
During the evening, poems were evident during the evening, which added to the atmosphere a high conscience, as the poet Abdullah Al -Hadiya sang a poem in the praise of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, while the poet Talal Salem Al -Sabri gave a poem in which he embodied the relationship of the word with conscience.
This evening comes within the third axis of Sharjah’s public libraries celebrations with a hundred years since its establishment, which is the axis of “the horizons of writers and poets”, which aims to highlight the aesthetics of Arabic poetry in the Emirate of Sharjah through a discussion session on criticism, rhetoric and the language of heritage in eloquent Arabic poetry that combines critical readings that extend from the past to the present.
