"Sharjah Heritage" It reveals the details of the 25th session of the International Al -Rawi Forum

Sharjah on the first of September / WAM / The Sharjah Heritage Institute announced the agenda of the 25th edition of the Sharjah International Parry Forum, which will be held from September 22 to 26 at the headquarters of the Arab Heritage Center in the University City, with the participation of more than 120 narrators, experts and researchers from more than 35 countries.

Dr. Abdulaziz Al -Muslim, President of the Institute and Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Forum, said during a press conference held today at the Arab Heritage Center that the event that started 25 years ago as a local activity to honor the Emirati narrator Rashid Al -Shouq, “may God have mercy on him” later turned into an international platform after the establishment of the Sharjah Heritage Institute to become an international meeting that brings together narrators and experts from all over the world.

The Maldives is the guest of honor of the current session of the forum, which will honor His Excellency Muhammad Al -Murr as the honorary personality, and Dr. Claudia from Italy as a legal figure, in appreciation of their contributions to supporting heritage and culture.

Aisha Al -Hoss Al -Shamsi, Director of the Arab Heritage Center and the General Coordinator of the Forum, indicated that the current session will be held under the slogan “Tales of the Traveler” because of the symbolism it carries in the history of peoples.

Al -Shamsi pointed out that this copy of the forum will witness the launch of the “Loyalty to the Creators” initiative, which celebrates this year with the Moroccan artist Amina Kamsemo and Dr. Ali Al -Shaloubi in appreciation of their giving and creativity in preserving cultural heritage.

She noted that the forum will include a scientific program that includes 10 sessions in which 45 researchers and experts from 15 countries are discussing topics related to the trip, their literature, their novels and their role in building cultural bridges between peoples, along with two main exhibitions “Tales of the travelers”, and “Muhammad Al -Murr’s holdings” that are presented for the first time to the public.

She explained that the forum will organize a direct meeting with a number of contemporary travelers who provide their live experiences in front of the public, along with more than 25 workshops specialized in the oral story and visual narration, as well as launching more than 40 new issues, most notably: “the literature of the trip in the Arab world” and the series “Eyes of Trips”.

The forum will witness wide international participation from Arab and foreign countries, and prominent academic institutions.
