The Red Sea Film Foundation hosts film makers

On the sidelines of the 82nd edition of the Venice International Film Festival, the Red Sea Film Foundation hosted a group of filmmakers who have enjoyed their support through its various programs, and in the presence of prominent cinematic characters and leaders of the Foundation and a number of its international partners. The Foundation, among them the Saudi director Shahd Amin (Hijrah Film), producer Mohamed Al -Darraji, Saudi star Nawaf Al Dhafiri, director Cyril Aris, and star Monia Aqel (Stars of Hope and Pain Film), producer George Shauqir, director Yanis Kosim (Raqqa Film), producer Faris Ladjimi, director and producer Damian Hauser (Memory of Princess Mombi) Addisola Ajega, director Sofia Alawi (Tarfaya Film), producer Chris Baral, alongside Faisal Bourbur, CEO of the Red Sea Film Film Foundation, and Sivani Bandia Malhotra, executive director of the Red Sea International Film Festival. Where this year, five of its films supported within its official programs participate, in addition to projects in its most prominent industrial programs. This attendance embodies the Foundation’s commitment to support the emerging cinematic voices from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, Africa, and Asia. The aspects of the cinematic industry contribute together to forming its structure and building its entity, namely: the Red Sea Market, the Red Sea Fund, the Red Sea laboratories, and the International Red Sea Film Festival. Preserving the heritage of classic Arab cinema.
