Osaka on September 1/ WAM/ The Cyber Security Council participated in cooperation with the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management in the activities of the state pavilion at the “Expo 2025” exhibition in Osaka – Japan, which has received more than three million visitors since the launch of the exhibition activities, to establish his position as one of the most prominent national wings to attract visitors.
The pavilion formed a unique area inside the exhibition, as it is a theater of dialogues and discussions, reviewing the successful march and state achievements in various fields.
Under the slogan “From Earth to Ether”, the wing presented to his visitors a rich experience that embodies the meeting of the ancient legacy of the state with its ambitious vision towards joint global progress.
The Cyber Security Council and the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management participated in the activities of the state pavilion during the exhibition through a set of discussion sessions, interactive activities on cybersecurity and accelerating digital threats.
The sessions and discussions focused on ways to enhance the exchange of experiences and information at the international level on cybersecurity issues and accelerating digital threats in addition to discussing ways to enhance the response to potential crises.
As part of the State Pavilion Program in Expo 2025 Japan, the Cyber Security Council and the National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority hosted a series of sessions with the participation of international delegations as well as a group of experts and Cyber security professionals.
The activities of the Council began with a specialized tour of the delegations invited inside the state pavilion, which got acquainted with the most prominent Emirati innovations and projects in the fields of cybersecurity and crisis management.
The council held the state pavilion of a series of sessions with the participation of international delegations and a group of experts and specialists in Sabrani security, including a session on “Cyber Security Diplomacy and Global Cooperation Models”, which focused on international efforts to enhance the exchange of experiences regionally and internationally in the digital fields to counter cyber threats.
The council hosted a session entitled: “National Cyber Security: Preparing for the Threats of Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things” to discuss cooperation efforts at various levels to enhance readiness to confront any potential cyber threats.
The Cyber Security Council organized two main sessions, the first entitled “Cyber Security: Building Flexible Countries through cyber exercises”, and the second entitled “Future Skills: Empowering Youth and Talents in the field of cybersecurity.”
During the exhibition, the state pavilion continued its dialogue activities that aimed at highlighting the challenges and opportunities in the field of cybersecurity and crisis management.
For its part, the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management organized NCMA two specialized sessions, the first on “Community Participation Initiative in Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Crisis”, and the second on “flexible infrastructure and business continuity.”
Al -Saltan included a presentation of the authority’s initiatives and efforts to encourage community participation in emergency and crises, in addition to reviewing efforts to enhance readiness at the infrastructure level to counter any threats aimed at stopping or affecting the continuity of business.
His Excellency Ali Saeed Al -Neyadi, Chairman of the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management, stressed that the exhibition aims to unify efforts and enhance the exchange of international experiences, to ensure a more efficient response to the current and future challenges, noting the need to develop proactive strategies to face the current crises at its various levels, and to activate the role of advanced technology in predicting risks, especially the use of advanced artificial intelligence techniques, The importance of deepening international cooperation to ensure a fast and fast response to confront threats and crises at various levels.
His Excellency Ali Saeed Al -Neyadi said that the Expo 2025 exhibition is a vital platform for leaders, policy makers and experts to face emerging threats, exchange of visions, and formulating practical solutions; Where hundreds of experts, specialists and decision makers participate, to explore advanced defensive strategies, global policies frameworks, and realistic cases of cases of reducing the risk of ransom programs to protect biomalic infrastructure.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Al -Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security of the UAE government, stressed the necessity of adopting an outswolved approach to confront accelerating cybersecurity, benefit from artificial intelligence and spreading machine learning to detect abnormal cases, crimes and electronic threats, predicting attacks, and promoting immediate response.
The Kuwaiti added that this requires stronger cooperation at international and regional levels, enhancing the exchange of experiences and intelligence information, and harmonizing global policies to combat cross -border threats, which is provided by participation in important international exhibitions such as the Expo Japan.
His Excellency stressed the necessity of changing the approach to dealing with cyber threats and digital attacks, pointing out the importance of integrating cyber flexibility into the basic processes of governments, companies and various institutions while giving priority to the advanced disclosure of threats and updating the effective response plans for accidents in addition to enhancing legal frameworks and international cooperation to dismantle digital crime networks, which requires the continuation of international cooperation in this field, whether by exchanging information or experiences.
He added that this participation comes within the framework of the joint efforts between the Cyber Security Council and the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Crams to enhance the UAE’s position as an international partner in formulating innovative solutions to face security and technical challenges, and to consolidate its role as a platform for global cooperation in building safer and sustainable societies.
