"Abu Dhabi Fishing and Equestrian Fair" They are decorated with rare holdings

Abu Dhabi, September 3/ WAM/ The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition in its twenty -second session, with rare collections and products presented by many participating wings, is increased with the aim of enhancing the association of generations of heritage, and highlighting the cultural heritage that the state abounds in.

Ahmed Saif bin Handal, director of the Sharjah Museum of Old Cars, confirmed in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” that the Abu Dhabi International Fishing and Equestrian Exhibition has achieved great success for more than 20 years, established its position as a global lighthouse to enhance the link to heritage, and also provides an ideal platform for national, regional and international companies specialized to display its latest products related to the fishing and equestrian sector.

He added that the museum is keen to participate in the exhibition annually, and during the current year the museum fled a new experience for visitors that enhance their association with the history of the state in hunting and equestrian, pointing out that the Old Sharjah Club pavilion that includes the museum includes a rare hunting car dating back to 1960, used in fishing and sniping trips.

He explained that the car was completely renewed in the specialized workshop provided by the Sharjah Club of Old Cars during a record period, with the aim of displaying it to the visitors of the Abu Dhabi International Fishing and Equestrian Show.

He pointed out that the club also provides an interactive platform for visitors that inform them of fishing practices in the country, in addition to a special corner for rare car numbers.

He explained that the club allows visitors to join its membership with discounts of up to 50 percent, where the club, which was established in 2008, works to upgrade the culture of old cars and the hobby of its acquisition, and the application of effective strategies to enhance and consolidate the position of the Emirate of Sharjah in the field of old cars hobby at the state and outside the state, and providing all services that receive the attention of practicing this hobby and developing it continuously.

Ibn Handal added that the Sharjah Old Cars Club is also keen to empower and rehabilitate national competencies, and to provide the necessary capabilities to practice the sport and hobby of the acquisition of old cars and bicycles, at a time when it pays special attention in cooperation with various clubs and institutions inside and outside the country.

The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, whose activities will continue until September 7, is a leading platform for celebrating the ancient heritage of the UAE and its established habits in hunting and equestrian, as it is the largest event in the Middle East and North Africa level, and embodies a history that extends for more than two decades of cultural heritage and authentic traditions.

The exhibition also plays a major role in supporting national industries in these vital sectors, in addition to its contributions in supporting the national handicraft sector and small and medium enterprises, and opening new markets for them at the regional and international levels.

The exhibition is also a vital platform for holding partnerships, and discussing cooperation opportunities between national and international companies, in addition to presenting the latest global technologies and equipment in the hunting and equestrian sectors.
