Brussels, on September 3 / WAM / Al -Jawad “Al -Zeer” was crowned the title of the Cup of His Highness the President of the State for the Pure Arab Horses at its eleventh Belgian station, which was held yesterday on the track and the saukim, as part of the thirty -second edition racing agenda of the precious cup.

The cup races confirmed its strong presence in the scene of the European races, and its leadership was established as one of the oldest and most expensive international classic races, amid a large crowd attended by the tracks of the field and the corner, and reached about 50 thousand spectators.
The five -year -old “Al -Zeer” and the slope of the descendants (Al -Mamoun Monlo x Asma Al -Khalidiya Bint Amer) succeeded by the owner Mohammed bin Fahd Al -Attiyah, and under the supervision of coach Francois Roho, and under the leadership of the knight Luka Dolosh, in providing a distinguished performance, in the race that was held for a distance of 2170 meters within the third category of horses from the age of four years and over, and with a prize of 200 thousand euros.

The course of the race witnessed the forefront of the horse “Joe Star” from the descendants (the hawjz x Del Dell Valot Bint Gourman) by Malik Nasser Hilal Al -Alawi, for the participating group of 12 horses, where he remained advanced until the last meters, before the “Al -Zeer” presented in the last decisive moments, achieving an impressive victory and an important victory in his career.
Al -Zeer traveled the race distance with a time of 2:24:01 minutes and a neck difference from “Joe Star”, which came second, while the third “Nabuko Al -Mori” (Assi × Nimosi Al -Mori bint Kesbrawi) came.

The race was attended by the winners, His Excellency Faisal Al -Rahmani, Secretary -General of the Supreme Organizing Committee for the Series of the President of the State Cup for Arab Horses, Khaled Al -Qaidi, representative of the state embassy in the Kingdom of Belgium, and Nelly Philipo Herman, President of the Arabian Horse Federation in Belgium.

For his part, His Excellency Muslim Al -Amiri, a member of the Supreme Committee Organizing the Series of the President of the State Cup for Arab Horses, said: “We express our pride in the important and great successes achieved by the Belgian station for the precious cup, whether at the level of mass attendance or the strength of the competitive and technical level of the race, which reflects the value of the event and its position with the elite of the owners, educators and the best Arab horseback in Belgium and Europe.”

He added that such successes are a great motivation to double the excellence and progress of the event’s march for the coming years, congratulating the owner Mohammed bin Fahd Al -Attiyah on the occasion of the victory of the “Al -Zeer” with the title of the Belgian station race for the precious cup, which witnessed an exceptional competition in this ancient forum, in a way that contributes to the advancement of the Arabian horse march over the course of 32 years.
