Dubai holding a global prize in governance

Dubai, September 3 / WAM / The General Administration of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai has achieved a qualitative achievement by winning a global prize for the category of “Best Authority in Institutional Governance – Government Sector 2025” from the Global Banking & Finance Review, thus becoming the first government agency in the Middle East to win this award, in confirmation of Dubai’s position as a global institutional governance center.

This coronation embodies the proactive orientation of Dubai’s residence in developing its institutional system in line with the vision of the Dubai government in innovation and excellence in government work.

His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohamed Ahmed Al -Marri, Director General of the General Administration of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, expressed his pride in this achievement, saying: We dedicate this honor to our wise leadership that provided us with vision and support, and we confirm our commitment to the continuation of the development of the institutional governance system, in a way that enhances Dubai’s position globally as a unique model in management and integrity.

Dr. Hanan Abdullah Al Marzouqi, Director of the Department of Institutional Governance and Compliance, stressed that the victory reflects the fruit of institutional work and the efforts of work teams, noting that the global coronation came as a result of consolidating the principles of compliance and developing policies and procedures according to the best global practices, and in a way that supports the sustainability of government performance in Dubai.

This international achievement is added to a series of prizes and honors achieved by Dubai’s establishment at the regional and global levels, in order to enhance the confidence of customers and confirms the vital role of the department in providing an integrated government model based on human service and building a more sustainable future.
