The launch of the Mohammed bin Zayed Camel Racing and Camel Racing Festival "Al Dhaid 2025"

Sharjah, December 24 / WAM / The activities of the 15th edition of the His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Camel Racing and Camel Pride Festival “Al Dhaid 2025” kicked off today.

The opening day of the festival witnessed a large participation of camel owners from various countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and its activities will continue over the course of 7 days, in the categories of “Al-Haqayeq”, “Al-Laqaya”, “Al-Iza’a”, “Al-Thanaya”, “Al-Hawl”, “Al-Zamool” and the heritage race.

“Tharwa” by Hazza Muhammad Salem Al-Jadeili won the title of the first round in the Haqayeq category, and its competitions were held over 20 rounds in the evening, over a distance of 4 kilometers, achieving 5:53:5 minutes. The second half witnessed “Khuf” by Mubarak Saeed Ali Al-Mansouri winning first place, recording 5:56:5 minutes.

“Wasfa” by Khalfan Salem Khalfan, with Al-Kutbi’s nude, topped the third half, with a time of 5:57:3 minutes, and the fourth half witnessed the victory of “Badran”, by Muhammad Ali Hamad Al-Fahida Al-Marri, with a time of 6:00:1 minutes, and “Matiba”, by Rashid Ali Bu Manakib Al-Marri, was crowned with the title of the fifth half, recording 5:57:8 minutes.

“Al-Inoud” by Naji Misfer Saleh Al-Rizq Al-Ajmi won the title in the sixth round, recording 5:55:8 minutes, and “Al-Faris” by Salem Hamad Rashid Al-Mukhaybi won the title in the seventh half with a time of 5:57:11 minutes, and “Al-Shahiniya”, by Faraj Dhifallah Salem Al-Amiri, won the title in the eighth half, recording 6:03:8 minutes, and “Mansoura”, by Thani Bin Qatami Al-Suwaidi, won the title in the ninth half with a time of 5:57:11 minutes. 5:58:6 minutes, while “Makhlab”, by Salem Hamad Rashid Al-Mukhaybi, won the title in the tenth round, achieving 6:04:1 minutes.

Rounds from the eleventh to the twentieth resulted in the victory of “Ghazal” by Taher Abdullah Khaled Al Balushi, “Masiha” by Abdoun Zuwayed Barghash Al Jahafi, “Shaheen” by Yasser Salem Muhammad Al Dwaiki, “Al Ghazil” by Dhiyab Mubarak Humaid Al Qanubi, “Al Asifa” by Abdullah Majid Ali Al Majid, “Fhad” by Saeed Muhammad Mubarak Al Khaili, and “Njoud” By Zayed Salem Saeed Al-Junaibi, “Adham” by Mana Rashid Hamad Al Munjim, “Jazla” by Abdullah Majid Ali Al-Majed, and “Shaheen” by Muhammad Salem Ali Al-Darai.
