Al Ain, December 24 / WAM / The first edition of the Emirates Open Sakton Shooting Cup for Cooperation Countries was concluded today at the Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club, with the participation of 270 male and female archers.

The events were held over a period of 4 days, as part of the UAE Licensed Weapons Shooting Championship in its third edition, organized by the Weapons and Dangerous Materials Office, under the auspices of the “Al Dar Aman” initiative.

Al Ain Shooting and Equestrian Club, represented by Mr. Adel Juma Al Dhaheri, and the committees working in arbitration and administrative affairs, were also honored for the efforts made to enhance the success of the tournament.

Amer Al-Menhali praised the participation of the people of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in the tournament, especially from the Sultanate of Oman, at distinguished levels that reflect the development of shooting sports in the countries of the region, and the keenness to participate in the various tournaments. He also praised the cooperation of all shooters and the implementation of the decisions and instructions issued by the organizing committee, and the efforts of the clubs hosting the tournament in its various stages, which had the greatest impact on its success.
