Dangerous incitement undermines regional security

The Secretary -General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Jassim Muhammad Al -Badawi, condemned the “dangerous and suspicious” calls issued by one of the Israeli occupation government ministers, which calls for deepening settlement and the inclusion of the occupied West Bank.

Al -Badawi described the statements as “a systematic incitement approach” that expresses the occupation government’s insistence on destabilizing security and stability in the region and undermining peace opportunities, in a flagrant challenge to international covenants and humanitarian laws and norms.

The Secretary -General called on the international community to take immediate and deterrent measures to stop this escalation and incitement, holding the occupation authorities fully responsible for the repercussions of these illegal policies and practices.

He renewed the confirmation of the Cooperation Council standing alongside the brotherly Palestinian people in the face of these aggressive statements, and its fixed support for its legitimate rights, foremost of which is the establishment of its independent state on the borders of the fourth of June 1967, and its capital is East Jerusalem.
