Fish, stocks of immigrant, common and cross -border species, joint cooperation between member states in developing and adopting best environmental practices and biomedically in aquaculture in the region, and implementing joint regional work and enhancement programs and projects to enhance coordination and cooperation in implementing international agreements and initiatives related to fish wealth. As an important and complementary addition to the previous specialized regional protocols under the umbrella of the Jeddah Convention (1982), it focuses on issues related to cooperation in the field of fish resource management and marine biology education in the region, as it provides specialized regional mechanisms and platforms for cooperation and coordination in policies, laws, regulations and plans for fish fisheries and marine farming in the region, and fish statistics programs monitoring and evaluating stocks, And other topics related to the sustainable management of fish resources in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. In this regard enhancing technical cooperation and capacity development programs to improve the management of fish resources and maritime farming, and its role in social and economic development, food security and sustainable use of living resources in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. Fishing, combating illegal fishing, coordinating biological security plans with regard to the means of protection from the dangers of transmitting diseases and invasive types in marine farming, enhancing the authority’s role in providing continuous training and technical support to member states and attracting regional projects to benefit from technical and financial support in cooperation with international organizations related to protocol issues for the benefit of the countries of the region.
