The Ajman Program for Government Distinguish
Ajman, on September 4/ WAM/ The Ajman Program for Governmental Excellence launched a qualitative initiative, represented in the establishment of the innovation laboratory, with the aim of supporting the innovation environment and enhancing scientific research and technological development, which contributes to creating a qualitative shift, in the quality of services and raising the level of customer satisfaction in the framework of the program’s endeavor to transfer knowledge and develop the capabilities of government agencies and qualify them to adopt best practices.
The laboratory focuses on strategic goals, which is to ensure fair access to services, as a basic right that enhances the quality of life.
The first government innovation laboratory workshop witnessed a wide participation from various government agencies in the Emirate of Ajman, as it formed a practical and experimental environment to generate new ideas and test innovative solutions to the challenges.
The workshop program included three main sessions, the first is devoted to discussing challenges and identifying their causes, while the second dealt with the rain using the “six thinking hats” tool, and the third session concluded by choosing promising ideas and testing them.
The program emphasized that the innovation laboratory is a vital platform, to accelerate the conversion of ideas into implementable projects, building a firm innovation culture within the Ajman government, and improving the quality of government services.
The Ajman Government Excellence Program considered that the launch of the “Innovation Laboratory” initiative represents a pivotal station in the government of government excellence in the emirate, where the initiative reflects the commitment of the Ajman government to adopt the sustainable innovation approach and support the journey of digital transformation, in a way that enhances the emirate’s position as a leading destination in developing government services.
