The high unemployment rate in the United States
Washington on September 5 / WAM / The United States created a few jobs last August, in parallel to the country’s high unemployment.
Official data issued by the US Department of Labor showed that 22,000 jobs were provided last August, which is a much lower level than the United States used to, and analysts expected to create 75,000 jobs.
The unemployment rate increased to 4.3 %, compared to 4.2 % in July and 4.1 % in June, and this is its highest level since the fall of 2021.
