President of the African Union of the Airways: Egypt is a pioneering model in organizing continental championships
Bushra Hajij, President of the African Volleyball Federation, praised the great organizational capabilities that Egypt enjoys, stressing that Cairo hosting the African Volleyball Championship for Youth represents a real reflection of the confidence of the continental union in Egyptian expertise and its logistical and human capabilities that qualify it to make any sporting event. The tournament is under the patronage of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, during the period from 11 to 21 September, at the hall of Dr. Hassan Mustafa in the 6th of October City, with the participation of nine countries: Egypt, Nigeria, Cameroon, Democratic Congo, Morocco, Rwanda, Tunisia, Zimbabwe, in addition to South Sudan, which records its first attendance in sports competition Continental. Delegations participating in arriving in Cairo on September 11, provided that the opening ceremony will be held on September 13 in conjunction with the start of the competitions, in an atmosphere that is expected to be full of excitement and suspense between promising African teams. Her position as a favorite sports destination on the continent, and contributes to providing valuable opportunities for young players to friction and refine their skills.
