Mubadala and"Antler" and"Hep 71" It launches a program to convert university research into commercial projects

Abu Dhabi, September 9 / WAM / Mubadala Investment Company “Mubadala” announced, in partnership with “Inner” and “HAB 71”, the launch of the “National Program for founders”; It is a strategic initiative for research projects for a period of six weeks, with the aim of converting leading university research into startups and commercial projects, in line with the needs of the business sectors.

This initiative is an extension of Mubadala investment in “Inteler”, and embodies its commitment to support the innovation system in the UAE.

Under this partnership, “Inner” will supervise the early stages of the program, which focuses on launching ideas, verifying the feasibility of projects, and developing the work of the founders; While “HAB 71” will do; The technology system that includes emerging companies, investors, and founders ’business leaders and government agencies with future orientations, by hosting the program and playing the role of the platform that is concerned with expanding its scope, and linking academic research to the technology and broader investment system in Abu Dhabi.

Participants in this program will benefit in an organized manner from the network of “HAB 71” system of guides, specialized experts and strategic partners. Participants will also obtain services for founders such as multiple privileges, organizational support and opportunities to benefit from markets and designed to accelerate the growth of emerging projects in their early stages. Through her experience in operating programs that focus on founders and support startups in 24 sectors, “HAB 71” will provide specially designed workshops aimed at supporting the foundation stage, and enhancing relations with investors in a way that helps to engage in the innovation system in Abu Dhabi.
