A discussion episode “ Endowment farms .. opportunities and challenges, which were launched this morning in Medina, to a package of strategic recommendations aimed at creating a qualitative shift in the agricultural endowment sector, most notably the call to establish a specialized national body for endowment farms, establishing effective agricultural companies, and developing innovative work models to convert them into Sustainable tourist destinations . Where Dr. Sulaiman Al -Najran called for the establishment of endowment companies to reclaim land, while Dr. Hamed Al -Harbi focused on the importance of establishing a specialized national body that integrates with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture. Engineer Saleh Al -Muhaisen presented the results of a study that included 300 endowment farms in the city, stressing the importance of modern technologies and investment partnerships. On the aspect of innovative models, Fayez Al -Khulaifi presented the experience of “stopping goodness” as a model for turning farms into tourist destinations. The event concluded by honoring the participants and the supportive bodies, while emphasizing the need to continue efforts to translate these recommendations into a tangible reality that enhances the role of endowments in national development.
