After accusing her of inciting immorality and immorality and publishing offensive videos … new developments in the famous Blueger case

The Economic Court ruled, today, Tuesday, to postpone the Appeal session of Blueger Hadeer Abdel Razek on the ruling of her imprisonment for one year, to be held on the fifth of next November, in the case accused of publishing the content of public morals on social media platforms.

Hadeer Abdel Razek had resumed the ruling against her in the case of incitement to immorality and immorality, and published videos that were considered offensive and violating public morals through their personal pages.

This was previously submitted by the defendant’s lawyer to a report to the Attorney General against a number of Hesba lawyer and some of the owners of the electronic pages, accusing them of committing the crimes of false communication, defamation, and submitting malicious reports aimed at undermining his client and harming their reputation.

In his communication, he pointed out that some of the reporters retain banned videos, and they entrusted to them and watch them, and even contribute to circulating and publishing them, which in itself constitutes a number of crimes punishable in accordance with the penal law, especially with regard to false communication, insults, defamation and stabbing, in addition to the articles mentioned in the law regulating the press and media, and the law to combat information technology crimes.

The case is expected to be considered again in the November session, amid media follow -up and wide societal reports on the limits of freedom of publication and digital content on communication platforms.
