Sharjah, September 10/ WAM/ Counselor Zayed Al Shamsi, President of the Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal, confirmed that the association’s participation in the International Forum for Government Communication for the second year in a row comes out of its keenness to contribute to promoting legal awareness of the fields of digital media and artificial intelligence and keeping pace with the rapid transformations in the government communication sector.

Al -Shamsi explained in statements to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) during the forum that the association presented two specialized seminars during the event, one of which is entitled: “Artificial Intelligence in the media between the organization and legal challenges”, and the second entitled: “Digital media and its role in enhancing cybersecurity”, noting that the two indicators shed light on the growing relationship between the media and modern technology, and the consequent legal and ethical challenges that require Modern and renewable legislation.

He added that the two sandals review the most prominent opportunities and risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence in digital media, and discuss the extent of the current legal frameworks in protecting personal data and the rights of users in the digital space, in order to enhance information security and the reliability of media content.

The president of the association stressed that this participation comes within the framework of the awareness and educational association, and its keenness to support national efforts in building an integrated media and legislative environment.
