Hamdan bin Mohammed Smart University revealed the details of the system (artificial intelligence agent for each faculty member), which is the first initiative of its kind in the country and the region to invest the advanced capabilities of the latest technologies in the field of higher education.

This came during a media meeting held at the university’s headquarters in Dubai. This pioneering step aims to redraw the features of the future of higher education, in line with the “National AI Strategy for the UAE 2031” and “Education Strategy 2033” (E33), in confirmation of the leadership role of the university worldwide to innovate in higher education.

Dr. Mansour Al -Awar, President of the University said: “We launched this initiative to see the vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, Supreme President of the University, when he said,“ Today we draw features of a new stage, we aspire to form artificial intelligence, the main pillar of designing future initiatives and services in Dubai, ”

He added: “We are at the university, with the directions of Matar Al -Tayer, the head of the Board of Trustees, and the members of the Council, are working to embody these trends by contributing to the consolidation of the global leadership of Dubai in enhancing education with artificial intelligence, and keeping pace with the UAE’s vision in the education sector, as this initiative makes a radical shift in the academic tasks by turning it into highly intelligent and speed operations, enhancing educational and academic experiences of learners and members of the teaching staff, and members of the teaching staff, With a new system that benefits from the latest technologies of artificial intelligence. “

He stressed: “This initiative aims to enhance the academic role of faculty members and organize academic tasks in a way that helps in emptying the faculty members to supervise and guidance, and for the efforts of scientific research and development, as well as in allocating experiences and experiences of learning and the academic program for each learner in a manner commensurate with the needs of learners, through an innovative and advanced system composed of an agent of artificial intelligence based on the following jobs: developing content to create decisions plans Study, evaluation of test design, and performance analysis to follow up on learners’ achievement

He explained that the agent is able to propose support and support strategies. Through this new educational system, the university succeeds in shortening the time of developing educational content by 85%, reducing the volume of work on faculty members 95%, and raising the level of academic achievement with an increase of 40%. And because this system contributes to advancing the research and development at the university, and raises the level of academic and educational performance in all its aspects, and providing the costs of designing and producing courses and academic programs, this platform is due to many benefits on the educational institution itself.

It is worth noting that this pioneering project was fully developed by international standards by the Hamdan bin Mohammed Smart University team led by Professor Maitha Al -Tunaiji, Vice President of the University for Artificial Intelligence and Technology.

The system has been provided with professional ethics standards for the use of artificial intelligence, and these criteria include privacy protection, bias reduction, transparency, and compliance with easy access criteria.
