His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, visited the Katara International Falcon and Falcon Exhibition “Suhail 2025”, a specialist in the field of fishing equipment, falconry supplies and equipment related to the sport of sniping, on the sidelines of his Highness’s visit to Doha.

His Highness, accompanied by Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Olympic Committee, was composed of part of the International Exhibition, where His Highness was briefed on what a group of international companies and leading Qatari institutions presented through the ninth edition of the exhibition, of the latest technologies, innovations and handicraft products associated with hunting, sniping and camping.

His Highness also listened to an explanation about the events and cultural activities that the event contains the heritage of hunting and sniping, which is one of the most important features of the Gulf culture and its authentic societal heritage.

During the visit, His Highness witnessed a part of the bird market exhibits, which includes a group of the best falcons produced by the Qatari farms, and the wing of Souq Waqif Falcon Hospital, which is one of the most important specialized hospitals known in the field of diagnosis and treatment of falcon diseases in Qatar.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum praised the exhibition and his idea, which celebrates an important aspect of the Gulf culture associated with the desert and desert sports, noting the value of the event as a forum that contributes to the revival of customs and traditions that the Gulf people participate in celebrating it, noting the impact of the exhibition in promoting the connection of new generations with their ancient societal heritage, as well as its impact on the economic level. An investment opportunities and strategic partnerships in the relevant fields, especially those related to fishing tools, sniping supplies and falcon care techniques, expressing his wishes for the exhibition and those responsible for it with more excellence and success.
