Secretary -General for Legislation: The law is a basic pillar of development strategies

Dubai, September 12 / WAM / Ahmed bin Mashmar Al -Muhairi, Secretary -General of the Supreme Committee for Legislation in the Emirate of Dubai, stressed that the International Day of Law, which falls on September 13 of each year, embodies the vital role of the law as the separation that we control in resolving conflicts and settling disputes, and the tool that we use to bring justice, fairness, framing activities and organizing relations between individuals, institutions and society.

Al -Muhairi said, in a statement on this occasion, that the law represents a basic pillar of economic and social development strategies, and a pivotal factor in consolidating the leadership of states and upgrading their competitiveness and their ability to attract business and investments.

He added that since the establishment of the union’s foundations for the establishment of the rule of law as a pillar of its development career, the UAE has continued to develop legislative frameworks based on flexibility, pre -eminence and comprehensiveness, stimulating innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship, and supports the model of the diverse and sustainable economy, which contributes to enhancing the prestigious global status of the state.

He pointed out that the Supreme Committee for Legislation in the Emirate of Dubai heads on the International Day of Law with a message of appreciation and praise for the cadres of law, justice and legislation in the country, stressing its commitment to continuing to spread legislative knowledge and enhance awareness of state legislation and facilitate the understanding of the legislator’s destination and its desirable, in a way that contributes to the consolidation of the culture of compliance and supports the path of growth and prosperity for the state.
