Britain announces a new sanctions package linked to Russia

Britain announced yesterday, a new package of relevant sanctions in Russia, targeting ships carrying Russian oil, as well as companies and individuals against the background of the supply of electronics, chemicals and explosives used to make Russian weapons. The British government stated in a statement that the package comes in response to the recent Russian attacks, in reference to the high number of Russian attacks by drones and missiles on Ukraine, and violating NATO airspace over Poland. The new sanctions target 70 ships, Britain, which they are used to transport Russian oil, and 30 companies and individuals, said they were involved in providing the Russian army with equipment used in arms systems.
