Sofia Vergara is exposed to a sudden health crisis … and pictures of the emergency room

On the night of the Emmy 2025 Awards, the international star Sofia Vergara was absent from the red carpet after suffering a sudden health crisis that led to the hospital.

Fergara (53 years) revealed through her Instagram account that she had suffered what she described as “the strangest sensitivity of the eye” before leaving the house, and published pictures and videos from the emergency room showing her eye swelling and washing in the emergency basin, with a joking comment: “I could not reach the Emmy concert … but I was able to reach the emergency room.”

Fergara was scheduled to offer one of the awards alongside stars such as Angela Bassett, Jennifer College, Tina Fai and Catherine Zeta-Jones, but her health condition prevented her from participating.

Despite her absence, the star raised the audience’s interest through social media with her spontaneous participation from the hospital, stressing that her stardom does not need a platform or prize to remain in the spotlight.
