Under the patronage of Hamdan bin Zayed / race "Abu Al -Abyad" Sailing bearings start September 20
Abu Dhabi, September 16/ WAM/ Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra Region, the “Abu Al -Abyad” sailing race is launched 60 feet on September 20 and 21, and is organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, within the marine heritage calendar for the new season.
In its statement issued today, the club confirmed that the race is the opening round of the sailing bearings championship 60 feet, and that it extends for a distance of 20 nautical miles, with a participation that is expected to exceed 90 loads on board hundreds of sailors and stooge.
The Organizing Committee for the race monitored valuable financial prizes with a total of 4.238,000 dirhams, which will be distributed to the winners until the 90th place, in the context of keenness to encourage Nakhudhah and contestants to continue to participate and maintain the continuity of this heritage sport, which is an important part of the history and heritage of the UAE and its national identity.
