An independent international investigation committee: Israel committed genocide in Gaza

The Independent International Investigation Committee of the United Nations concerned with the occupied Palestinian land – including East Jerusalem – and Israel was established by the Human Rights Council in 2021.
The committee said, in a press statement, that it had made investigations into the events that took place on October 7, 2023 and since that date over the past two years.
In a report issued today, I concluded that “Israeli authorities and Israeli security forces committed four of the five genocide actions. I identified “An agreement to prevent the crime of genocide and punish it“For the year 1948, which is” killing, causing serious physical or mental harm, imposing deliberate living conditions intended to destroy the Palestinians completely or partially, and imposing measures aimed at preventing childbirth. “
The committee added that the explicit statements issued by the Israeli civil and military authorities and the patterns of the behavior of the Israeli security forces “indicate that the genocide committed the structure of the total or partial destruction of the Palestinians as a group in the Gaza Strip.”
Nevle, the head of the Independent International Committee, said that “the responsibility of these terrible crimes fall on the Israeli authorities at the highest levels, which have arranged a group of genocide for nearly two years now with a specific intent, which is the destruction of the Palestinians as a group in Gaza.”
She added that the committee also concluded that Israel “failed” to prevent the perpetration of genocide and punish its perpetrators, by “its failure” to investigate the genocide and prosecute the alleged perpetrators.
According to the press statement, in order to prove the intention of genocide, the committee applied the “only reasonable conclusion” criterion that it set International Justice Court In the case of Bosnia against Serbia, statements were analyzed by the Israeli authorities.
The committee concluded that this is a direct evidence of “the intention of genocide.” It also analyzed the pattern of the behavior of the Israeli authorities and the Israeli security forces in Gaza, including “starving the Palestinians and imposing inhumane living conditions on them in Gaza, and found that the intention of genocide is the only reasonable conclusion that can be deduced from the nature of their operations.”
