"Kuwaiti -Emirati cultural days 2025" It starts with the national theater

Abu Dhabi, September 17 / WAM / The activities of the “Kuwaiti -Emirati Cultural Days 2025” were launched yesterday, which will be held in the national theater in Abu Dhabi and will continue until September 18, in cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, and the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature in the State of Kuwait to celebrate the choice of Kuwait, the capital of Arab culture and media 2025.
The Kuwaiti delegation participating in the activities is chaired by His Excellency Saad Al -Enezi, Assistant Secretary -General for the Financial and Administrative Affairs Sector of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature, and the delegation includes more than 20 participants from the popular group, along with eight administrators.
The official opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency Fares Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, His Excellency Mubarak Al -Nakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, His Excellency Ambassador Gamal Mohamed Al -Ghunaim, Kuwaiti Ambassador to the State, and a number of dignitaries.

The ceremony included the opening of the plastic exhibition and the publication and photos exhibition, in addition to a presentation of the Kuwaiti popular band, a short documentary film on Emirati -Kuwaiti relations, then a symposium presented by Dr. Mohamed Al -Baghili.
The second day of the events will witness a lecture on the purebred Arabian horses given by Dr. Yahya Al -Kandari, in addition to the plastic exhibition and the publication and pictures exhibition, while the third day is devoted to musical performances presented by the Kuwaiti band, in addition to the continuation of the accompanying artistic and literary exhibitions.
On this occasion, His Excellency Mubarak Al -Nakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, affirmed that the choice of Kuwait, the capital of Arab culture and media 2025 is a recognition of its historical role in developing the Arab cultural scene, through its leading institutions, intellectuals, artists, and its rich cognitive and creative production that reached every Arab home.
In this context, he pointed out that the relationship between the UAE and the sisterly state of Kuwait is rooted in history, established in the conscience of the two peoples, and is supported by a wise political will that believes that the present and future of the country begins to invest in man, in his thought, identity, and values.
In turn, His Excellency Ambassador Jamal Mohamed Al -Ghunaim, Kuwaiti Ambassador to the State, stressed in his speech at the opening that this event renews the spirit of communication and deepens the bonds of the established brotherhood that brings together the two countries and the two brotherly peoples who have relations that extend their roots to the past and witnessing strong partnerships and fruitful cooperation in various fields.
Al -Ghunaim pointed out that the choice of Kuwait is the capital of Arab culture and media for the year 2025, reflects its pioneering role in promoting the cultural and media movement at the regional and Arab levels, stressing the commitment of the ancient Kuwaiti cultural institutions such as the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature, and the exhibitions of the book and theatrical and artistic festivals to continue this role.
He pointed out that the cultural march in Kuwait and the UAE embodies the leadership of the two countries in supporting culture and arts at the Gulf and Arab levels, “Kuwait has early established a prominent theater and literary movement, while the UAE embraced major projects for knowledge and creativity and today has become a global destination for culture and thought in a way that embodies their common role in building human awareness and enhancing the position of culture as a soft power that contributes to sustainable renaissance.”
Ambassador Al -Ghunaim stressed that these cultural days will be a bright station in the record of distinguished brotherly relations between Kuwait and the UAE.
For his part, His Excellency Saeed Al -Enezi said that the relations between the United Arab Emirates and the State of Kuwait are solid fraternal relations since ancient times, which were strengthened by the ties of kinship, the unity of language, religion, common history and common interests, and were not limited to the political side only, but also extended to include social, economic and cultural fields, which made it a role model in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Arab countries.
He stated that the celebration of the Kuwaiti cultural heritage in the UAE constitutes a celebration of a common success story in supporting the cultural movement, exchanging experiences, enriching the artistic and literary scenes in the two countries, noting that the past years have witnessed continuous cooperation between cultural institutions in Kuwait and the Emirates embodied in organizing cultural weeks, exchanging artistic and theatrical teams, holding joint exhibitions and intellectual and literary forums.
He believed that the Kuwaiti cultural days in the Emirates are added to a series of fruitful partnerships that aim to enhance cultural exchange and transfer experiences and creativity between the youth of the two countries, their intellectuals and their artists, and the public also provides an opportunity to get to know closely on the ancient Kuwaiti heritage and its authentic values ​​and artistic and creative practices that reflect the Gulf and Arab identity.

The activities include a diversified program that reflects the richness of the Kuwaiti cultural scene, and includes formative exhibitions, artistic performances, intellectual seminars, and cinematic shows, highlighting historical relations and close brotherly ties between the Emirati and Kuwaiti peoples.
