The French presidency warns that Israel annexed the West Bank “a clear red line”

The French presidency warned on Friday that the annexation of the occupied West Bank, which was shown by Israeli officials recently in response to the determination of Western parties, including Paris, to recognize the State of Palestine, is a “clear red line.”

Advisor to President Emmanuel Macron confirmed that “10 countries have decided … recognition of the State of Palestine” will participate in a conference held in New York on Monday on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings.

These countries are France, Britain, Australia, Canada, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Malta, Nundra and San Marino, according to the same source.

Macron will give a speech in which he officially announced the recognition of the Palestinian state about three o’clock in the afternoon New York time (19:00 GMT), during the conference that shares his presidency with the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who will speak via video contact “according to the latest data available in our possession,” according to the French source.
