Mohammed bin Rashid launches the national campaign "UAE is the capital of entrepreneurs in the world"

Dubai, September 21/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “God bless him”, launched the national campaign “The Emirates, the capital of entrepreneurs in the world” with the aim of consolidating the UAE’s position as a global destination for entrepreneurship, and providing all ways of support for Emirati youth to benefit from the unique economic environment provided by the state through an integrated group of specialized initiatives and programs.
The Ministry of Economy and Tourism supervises the campaign in cooperation with the media office of the UAE government, with the participation of the Emirates Business Entrepreneurship Council, a group of strategic partners from the government and private sectors, and a number of national institutions.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said: “Brothers and sisters are launching today a new national campaign from the Council of Ministers entitled“ The Emirates is the capital of entrepreneurship in the world ”… with the participation of more than 50 entities from the public and private sectors … The goal of the campaign is training and embrace 10 thousand entrepreneurs from our children .. and providing thousands of economic opportunities for them .. and consolidating societal awareness of the importance of benefiting from the economic boom that our country is witnessing .. All authorities and institutions to participate in this campaign and support their goals.
His Highness also said: “Today we have fifty business incubators that spread at the state level and our national economy that includes small and medium -sized companies that contribute more than 63% of our total non -oil local output .. The UAE leads the most important 56 global economies in supporting small and medium -sized companies and providing them with the best business environment for them.”
His Highness stressed, “Our goal is that young people go more to build their private companies … and contribute to the march of economic development … and benefit from the great opportunities that our active national economy provides.”
The campaign, which is supervised by the Ministry of Economy and Tourism in cooperation with the media office of the UAE government, with the participation of more than 50 entities of business incubators and parking in the country, partners from the government and private sectors, and academic institutions, attracting and training entrepreneurs, highlighting the UAE’s contribution to entrepreneurship globally and making it an attractive destination for talents and entrepreneurs, promoting the success stories of Emirati citizens who contributed to increasing Community awareness in the field of entrepreneurship.

The most prominent campaign initiatives include the establishment of Startupimirates.ae, a platform aimed at allowing free leadership support and includes the establishment of a center that includes various spaces and training for entrepreneurs in the Emirates, training Emirati cadres, providing guidance services and linking them with startups to exchange experiences. And attracting and supporting about 10,000 entrepreneurs in the Emirates, providing about 30,000 job opportunities during the next five years.
The national campaign also includes a program to train 10,000 citizens and citizenship to understand the basics and practices of entrepreneurship, dedicated to rehabilitating new entrepreneurs through an intensive training program, with the aim of providing them with practical knowledge and deep understanding of the basic concepts in the world of entrepreneurship.

The program includes identifying the stages of establishing projects, identifying opportunities, building business models, resource management, innovative thinking, and practical steps to develop an integrated plan for the project, with a focus on skills and practices that help participants to convert their ideas into projects that are subject to growth and sustainability in the modern business environment.
The national campaign “The Emirates is the capital of entrepreneurs in the world” is launched by a set of specialized programs and initiatives with the aim of supporting the entrepreneurial sector, and providing young people with academic expertise and knowledge to enhance their presence in various economic sectors, and comes at the forefront of these initiatives, the “Project Management Experts” program, which is a program for licensing national competencies with experience in the field of construction work, and enabling them to supervise housing construction projects efficiently and professionally.
The program aims to train and license 500 citizens and citizenship to manage housing construction projects in all its stages, from planning to completion, providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to support the next owners to build their homes, and provide the necessary consultations to them to ensure the progress of work smoothly and high quality.
The campaign is presented, within its programs, in cooperation with the Academy of the new economy and a number of strategic partners, the Emirati tax agent, a specialized training program aimed at qualifying 500 Emirati tax agents in each of the “value -added tax diploma”, and “Corporate Tax Diploma”.
The campaign also includes the launch of Emirati real estate companies, by embracing and supporting citizens to establish 250 companies and real estate agency, and the national campaign includes “the Emirates as the capital of entrepreneurs in the world” an initiative to train 50 content makers in the field of economics and entrepreneurship in cooperation with the new media academy, through a specialized program concerned with raising awareness and content industry in entrepreneurship and targets current entrepreneurs and aspirations, and content makers who are They focus on the digital economy.
The campaign also includes cooperation with the Ministry of Education to organize an exhibition at the state level in which all educational institutions participate, with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of entrepreneurship at an early age, as well as organizing the exhibition of commercial graduate projects, in which academic institutions and universities and a number of partners participate in order to provide a platform to present their entrepreneurial projects to an audience of investors, potential partners, and supportive authorities in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The campaign initiatives also include providing opportunities for the owners of national entrepreneurial projects to participate more in the federal government purchasing system, and organizing workshops on registration and participation mechanisms in federal government tenders under the umbrella of the Ministry of Finance.
