“Abu Dhabi Gardens” supports education in the arms of nature

Public parks in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi turned into an interactive environment that contributes to enriching the educational experience of students in the arms of nature and green spaces, which enhances the levels of attention and memory, and improves the level of academic performance in the tests, as well as supporting the physical and mental health of students alike.
The public parks in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi succeeded in overcoming their role as entertainment or hiking destinations, by providing an integrated educational environment that supports various academic stages with practical experiences and interactive activities through which students recognize vital diversity of plants and animals, and they learn how to preserve the environment, which enhances them with responsibility towards future generations, as activities contribute to developing critical thinking, and linking Theoretical concepts of practical reality.
The mother of the Emirates Park in Abu Dhabi is one of the most prominent destinations that combine education and entertainment, as it offers varied educational packages designed specifically for the various academic levels, as the primary stage includes introductory tours of garden animals, identifying desert life and local plants.
As for the preparatory stage, it includes workshops on Bedouin hospitality, sustainability practices, and adaptation to the desert environment, while the secondary stage includes applied studies to measure environmental systems, as well as deepening in the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God bless him.
Since the launch of the tutorial in 2016, the park has received more than 80,000 students from various schools, including 3372 students during the 2025/2024 season.
The spokesman for the mother of the UAE park, Rasha Kablawi, said that every visit to the park is a journey that combines learning and fun in the heart of nature, and opens the prospects for exploration and knowledge of young and old alike, through interactive experiences and activities.
She added that the park seeks to instill the curiosity and enhance the association of the new generation with the ancient Emirati heritage, raise its awareness of sustainability, and encourage it to meditate on everything around it, and from this standpoint we continue to commit to enhancing our partnerships with educational institutions, to provide innovative programs that enrich students ’experiences, and opens new horizons for learning.
