The start of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Al -Qurai program 2025-2026 in Al Ain

Al Ain on September 22 / WAM / The activities of the “Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Al -Qurai” program for the academic year 2025-2026 were launched in the city of Al Ain, under the slogan “A Reader Generation … a generation capable of challenge”.

The Future Generations Library, affiliated to the Association of Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan for Future Generations, yesterday morning, embraced the launch of the program that is held under the patronage of Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions.

The program, which started its journey in 2005, aims to consolidate the habit of reading as an influential force in the formation of the personality of the new generation and the development of their linguistic and intellectual skills, in line with the national strategy of the UAE and its vision in promoting the culture of reading, and building a knowledge -based economy.

This year’s version of the program is characterized by integrating artificial intelligence technologies and harnessing them to serve smart digital reading, which keeps pace with technological developments and creates a generation able to deal with future tools.

The activities of the first day included various activities among the three initiatives branching from the program, which are “Buds of Knowledge”, “Crown of Knowledge” and “The Emirates of Knowledge”, which target different age groups.

The activities included free reading sessions, a summary of the reader, and a display of cultural videos, followed by interactive dialogues, while the program will present throughout the year, a bouquet of events, including creative workshops that mix writing, drawing and arts, promotional competitions, and periodic meetings with parents to enhance the role of the family as a basic partner in planting the love of reading among children.

The program seeks to link reading to national identity and practical reality by organizing cultural trips and visits to book exhibitions, and is based on a system of basic values ​​that include love of knowledge, respect for time, honesty, cooperation, and order, with the aim of building an educated and conscious generation, which possesses the tools needed to face the challenges of cultural globalization and keep pace with the information revolution.

The administration of the Future Generations Library called on all members to participate actively in the activities of the program, stressing that the new version will make reading an enjoyable and inspiring experience that exceeds the limits of the book to wider horizons of creativity and knowledge, and motivational gifts were distributed to the participants.
