"Emirates Award for Entrepreneurship in the labor market" It receives more than 18 thousand sharing requests

Dubai, September 23 / WAM / The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation received more than 18,000 requests to participate in the third session of the “Emirates Prize for Entrepreneurship in the Labor Market”, an increase of about 134% compared to the number of candidacy requests for the award in its second session, which amounted to about 7700 requests.

The increase in candidacy requests reflects the growing importance of the award, its reliability among companies and individuals, and its pivotal role in enhancing companies’ interest and commitment to the pioneering requirements of the award and developing their operational models and compliance with legislation, in light of the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State and Prime Minister and head of the Presidential Bureau, for the award, which is the first of its kind at the state level in honoring the leading practices It is distinguished in the labor market at the level of private sector companies and workforce.

The increase in candidacy requests also reflects the success of the expansion of the current session of the award, and its inclusion in all the axes of the labor market, as the award witnessed this year the creation of a new category within the category of labor housing with the aim of encouraging companies to adopt initiatives, practices and sustainable entertainment activities for their workers, especially in national occasions and holidays, which contributes to increasing productivity and promotes the positive values ​​of workers and motivates them to Community affiliation, in addition to increasing the number of honorees to 100 winners, instead of 84 winners who were honored in the second session.

His Excellency Dalal Al -Shehhi, Acting Undersecretary for Work Protection, said that the Emirates Prize for Entrepreneurship in the Labor Market continues to consolidate its position as a model for competitiveness in the labor market, where it is witnessing an exceptional demand and a wide increase in requests for participation every year, which highlights its role in motivating companies and workforce and enhancing a competitive work environment that establishes the UAE leadership in the business environment as the best place to live, work and invest in the world.

She added that the award supports the methodology of integration and partnership with the private sector, which is a model in the application of social responsibility and its integration into all details of the work environment, stressing the importance and role of the award in enhancing the success and sustainability of companies and honoring its distinguished practices in line with the vision of the state 2031.

The specialized committees in the technical and field evaluation of the files of the participants in the award began based on leading governance models and clear standards of transparency and integrity, in preparation for announcing the winners and honoring them next November.

The work of the committees comes after last August 31, the door for receiving applications for candidacy for the award, which includes five categories: the corporate category, the distinguished workforce category, the workers ’category, the business service partners category, in addition to the special honor category.

The winning companies obtain a package of advantages, including their classification in the first category within the corporate classification system followed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and benefit from discounts on the services provided by the Ministry, as well as granting them priority in the completion of transactions, while the individual winners receive valuable financial and in -kind prizes.
