Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Mansour Al-Mushaiti, stressed that social responsibility represents a fundamental pillar in building a balanced and sustainable society, because of its pivotal role in achieving integration between economic growth Environmental protection and community service, pointing out that adopting qualitative initiatives contributes to enhancing community awareness and its ability to face challenges and ensure the sustainability of resources for future generations.
This came during his sponsorship today of the activities of the Social Responsibility Forum in Environment, Water and Agriculture, which was held with the participation of more than (300) specialists and interested parties from various government agencies, the private sector and non-profit organizations.
Empowering partnerships for sustainable development
His Excellency explained that the Ministry It continues to consolidate this approach through its commitment to promoting Clear and measurable initiatives, and building strategic partnerships that translate into tangible results on the ground, contributing to supporting environmental development, enhancing the quality of life, and building capabilities in social responsibility for companies, associations, and individuals.

During the forum, His Excellency the Deputy Minister was briefed "the environment" On the initiatives of the leading strategic entities and companies that presented qualitative projects that reflect the growing role of the non-profit and private sector in supporting environmental sustainability, as the list of strategic partnerships included the participation of Al-Muhaidib Foundation to serve the community through initiatives that included reviving reserves, increasing vegetation cover, recycling, and implementing sea cleaning campaigns, along with the Gross Charitable Foundation through several initiatives, the most prominent of which are an innovative initiative to reduce food loss and waste, the Endowment Agricultural Investment Initiative, the initiative to create environmentally friendly mosques, and the Al-Fawzan Foundation to serve the community, through the Environmental Social Investment Initiative, which reflects Integration of community efforts in promoting environmental work.
His Excellency also reviewed the participation of a number of entities and companies that provided innovative solutions, including the Al-Nafi Endowment for community service and the Al-Munafeed Al-Mutamayez Trading Company through the Digital Recycling Platform Initiative, the Zero Neutrality Company for Environmental Services through the Smart Forestry Initiative, and the Abdul Rahman Abdul Aziz Al-Jomaih Charitable Foundation through the Water Desalination Project to Serve Remote Areas. Specific initiatives also emerged for recycling companies in the Ihram Sustainable Initiative, and the Energy Waste Company through the Ihram Sustainable Initiative.
