China has 4.65 million fifth -generation communications stations

BEIJING, on September 24/ WAM/ The number of fifth -generation communications stations in China reached about 4.65 million stations by the end of last month, according to official data issued today by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The ministry stated that these stations represent about 36.3% of the total number of mobile phone connections in various parts of China.

By the end of last August, the number of subscribers to the three major mobile phone communications companies and China Product reached about 1.82 billion users.

Among these users there are 1.15 billion subscribers who use the fifth generation phones, an increase of 140 million subscribers from the end of last year, representing about 63.4% of the total mobile phone users in China.
