Our services are completed by “the click of a button”, but there are cases that require direct human communication
The Director General of Dubai Municipality, Marwan bin Ghalita, stressed that all municipal projects and services start from a clear added value that positively affects human life, stressing that everyone who lives in Dubai is directly or indirectly affected by the services provided by the municipality from the beginning of its day until the end of it.
Continuous development
Bin Ghalita said: “We have adopted in the Dubai Municipality the continuous development methodology as a permanent work approach, so that the process of improvement and modernization is present in everything we do. Development is not limited to digital transformation or automation only, although all government departments in Dubai are able today to provide their services electronically, but rather exceeds that to focus on the spirit of Dubai that must be the basis of every service we provide.”
Technology and human touch
He added that the municipality is keen to combine technology and the human touch, explaining that some cases need direct communication and a human interaction to provide the service in an optimal way, saying:
“Although most services can be accomplished with a press of a button, there are cases that require direct communication and a personal explanation. We are keen that this human dimension remain an inherent part of our services system.”
Driving directives
Bin Ghalita pointed out that the directives of the wise leadership, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai “may God bless him”, which emphasizes the proximity of people and listening to their needs, adding: “We witnessed in the last field visit to His Highness his keenness to follow the affairs of all regions, including the countryside. Immediately, this reflects the Dubai approach that development is comprehensive for all, without any area or category. ”
Quality of services
Bin Ghalita concluded his statements, during a dialogue session on the sidelines of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Forum for leaders, by emphasizing that the Dubai Municipality will continue to enhance the quality of its services and develop its digital and human structure, with a focus on the experience of customers and make it easier and effective, in a way that establishes Dubai’s position as a leading global city of life.
