Shamma bint Muhammad bin Khaled: Thought, literature and cultural creativity is a mirror that reflects the identity of society
Abu Dhabi, September 25 / WAM / Sheikha, Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions, confirmed during her meeting in her council, the Emirati writers who won the Emirati article Award, that thought, literature and cultural creativity are a mirror that reflects the identity of society and an open means of the world to express the national and human vision of our wise leadership and our Emirati society.
She added, during the meeting that was held in the intellectual dialogue session of the Council of Thought and Knowledge in the presence of members of the Prize Board of Trustees, that the Emirati article award represents a national platform to push intellectual energies in the country to more intellectual and knowledge production.
She praised the depth of the topics that were raised during the winning articles that reflected cultural and intellectual awareness in the book, in addition to the reflection of the valuable heritage as a basic corner in building their cultural vision of the various issues that were raised.
Sheikha, Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan, stressed that this meeting and intellectual dialogue are not just a celebration of the winning texts, but rather an affirmation that the Emirati word, when it writes consciously and responsibly, can be an impressive resonance in the Emirati and Arab cultural movement and becomes a bridge for civilization between Emirati culture and other cultures around the world.
He said that this achievement is an affirmation that the Emirati pen has long reached the stage of creative and intellectual maturity, and it has become a solid number in the equation of Gulf and Arab culture in general, which deepens from the message that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, is keen to reach the whole world as a model for comprehensive development and meeting of different thought and cultures in a unique human coexistence system.
For their part, the winners and members of the Board of Trustees expressed their great appreciation and gratitude to the sheikh, Dr. Shamma bint Muhammad, appreciating this unique interactive approach in supporting the creators.
They emphasized that these rich meetings send in the hearts of Emirati writers a strong encouragement, and give the award a high moral and literary value, and its role is established as a leading platform for thought and creativity in the country.
