Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Cultural Center signs three memorandums of understanding to develop education and culture
Al Ain, July 18 / WAM / The Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural Center signed three memorandums of understanding with the Derayah Speakers Platform, the Teachers Association, and the International Montessori Society, in the presence of Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions.
These memorandums aim to activate joint cooperation frameworks by launching integrated training and educational initiatives and programmes, aimed at refining expression and communication skills, and providing professional development for teachers, in addition to keeping up with and applying the latest global educational practices in the childhood and education sectors, in the interest of building human beings and improving the societal role of cultural and educational institutions.
These memorandums focus on consolidating the values of national identity and developing the talents of effective rhetoric and expression, ensuring the upbringing of a promising and innovative generation that possesses the elements of confident and professional communication.
Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan confirmed that the signing of the memorandums falls under the strategic vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan’s cultural and educational institutions, which aims to formulate close knowledge and professional partnerships that transform knowledge, identity and culture into a tangible reality that reflects positively on the journey of generations and the future of the nation.
She said: We believe that investing in education and knowledge is the most important investment in building humanity, and that effective institutional partnerships give us greater ability to develop initiatives and reach their impact to broader segments of society. From this standpoint, our cooperation comes with the Derayah Speakers Platform, the Teachers Association and the International Montessori Society, as integrated partnerships that combine developing the ability to express, support the teacher, and develop educational practices related to children.
She pointed out that building bridges of cooperation with national and international bodies and public benefit associations provides broader horizons for exchanging knowledge and developing cultural content, and formulating initiatives with measurable performance indicators that ensure the achievement of a lasting positive impact, in a way that supports the ambitious goals of the UAE in the comprehensive development process and establishing a knowledge society and global leadership.
