The sixth session of the Netherlands Festival for Middle East and North Africa was launched yesterday, by honoring the festivals expert, Antihal Al -Tamimi, who is the honorary president of the festival, where the festival was awarded him & quot; The Hague Award for Cinema & quot; In appreciation of his busy career and his prominent contributions in supporting the seventh Arab and international art, and the opening ceremony hall witnessed a night in the love of Antifaqi Al -Tamimi, where he was accompanied by a storm of applause, while everyone stood in appreciation of his career, which is the honor that witnessed the presence of his wife Fadia Sami and his only son Hadi.

For his part, Antalhal Al -Tamimi expressed her happiness by granting him the Hague Award for Cinema, thanks to his friends who attended the moment he honored him in the festival, including the international artist Marcel Khalife, the great critic Ibrahim Al -Aris and the Egyptian critic Andrew Mohsen, and other friends and close associates.

He also thanked all the participants in the documentary film that the festival shown before honoring it, and thanked the painter Ali Al -Manzalawi and the sculptor Qasim Al -Saeedi for presenting artworks specially for him on the occasion of the honor.

Producer Mohamed Hefzy gave a speech honor and a testimony in the right to recover Al -Tamimi, in which he said that he learned a lot from him, which helped him to manage the Cairo Festival years ago, stressing that the Antifa Tamimi is an organized and familiar personality with all matters and details, and he does not have the selfish seizure of films in favor of the festival in which he works, but rather seeks to help filmmakers in presenting their work in other festivals, he is supportive and loving to all."RTL"> For his part, Dr. Mustafa Barboush, head of the festival, said: & quot; that the sixth session constitutes a new step in a special journey that started as an initiative to enhance dialogue and convergence, and today, the festival has become an international platform in which cinema meets with culture and society & quot;

And Barboush continued: & quot; in the city of peace and justice & ndash; The Hague & Ndash; That embraces more than 140 nationalities, filmmakers from the Middle East and North Africa gathered with a diversified and wide audience & quot;
