Mauritania calls for bridging the gap between a world that goes towards the industrial revolution, and another remains a captive of poverty

He pointed to the contrast that divides the world into two, one of which is launched at a rapid pace towards the fourth industrial revolution and artificial intelligence, and the other remains a captive of poverty and marginalization.
He warned that this gap, with the growing conflicts and wars, puts humanity in front of a Asir exam, which necessitates the unification of efforts to find solutions to reduce the gap by achieving fair and comprehensive development axis of human and his right to a decent life.
The Mauritanian Foreign Minister said that the “collective genocide” that Gaza is exposed to puts the human conscience and the credibility of the United Nations in front of a fateful test.
He stressed his country’s standing by the Palestinian people, and he renewed the assertion that violence could not bring a solid security and peace to the Middle East.
In the context of his talk about the importance of the United Nations reform in a balanced way, he re -confidence in it, renewed the commitment to the legitimate demands of the African continent for a fair representation in global governance structures.
He touched on a number of achievements made by Mauritania in the fields of governance, social protection, economy and human rights, combating terrorism and extremism, and moving to clean energy.
He conveyed Mauritania’s call to the international community to support developing countries in facing food security challenges, climate changes, and debt problems, in support of its endeavor to achieve Sustainable development goals.
