"Rawad " Agree to finance new projects in Sharjah
Sharjah, on September 28 / WAM / The Enterprise Financing Committee of the Sharjah Foundation to support entrepreneurial projects “Rawad” approved requests for financing 4 new pioneering projects in the Emirate of Sharjah with a total value of 670 thousand dirhams during its thirty -seventh meeting, headed by His Excellency Hamad Ali Abdullah Al -Mahmoud, head of the Economic Development Department in Sharjah.
The projects were distributed according to the city to 3 projects in the city of Sharjah and one project in the city of Kalba, but according to the type of activity, 3 projects came in the professional sector (service) and one project in the commercial sector, and projects that obtained financing approval were divided into 3 projects owned by citizens ’business pioneers, while the fourth project for a citizen entrepreneur came.
The meeting reviewed the remaining financing balance position for 2025, and the committee decided to raise the ceiling of financing allocated to the fourth quarter to one million and 500 thousand dirhams.
Al -Mahmoud emphasized that the financing services provided by the Foundation to support the entrepreneurs of citizens of small and medium enterprises in the emirate are a promising and ambition that enhances the future of the national economy and enables our youth to be active and influential partners in the comprehensive and sustainable development process in the UAE.
By the end of the third quarter of this year 2025, the total projects obtained on financing approvals from the institution increased to 16 projects, with a total financing value of 3 million and 860 thousand dirhams.
