The Board of Directors of the Bahrain Stock Exchange holds its fifth meeting of 2025

The Board of Directors of the Bahrain Stock Exchange held its fifth meeting of the year 2025 on Tuesday, September 30, headed by Mr. Youssef Abdullah Al -Youssef, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
This meeting was preceded by a lengthy workshop with the CEO and members of the Exchange Executive Management, during which the Council discussed the Stock Exchange strategy for the next three years. During the workshop, the main pillars were reviewed to develop the work of the stock exchange, ensuring that its role is strengthened and turned into an integrated financial market capable of attracting more investments and providing an attractive environment for local, regional and international investors.
Before the meeting, the council was briefed on a offer by the symbol company, eating the basic views of the development of financial markets. In this context, the Bahrain Stock Exchange signed an agreement with the symbol company to provide consulting services in the capital markets, which reflects its continuous commitment to support the development of financial markets in the region.
During the meeting, the Board of Directors reviewed the current projects and initiatives for the stock exchange, as well as determining the level of achievement to measure the exchange of the stock exchange as it is in August 2025. The Council discussed ways to enhance the efficiency of operational and supervisory operations, and the development of financial products and services, as well as keeping pace with global best practices in managing financial markets to establish the position of the Bahrain Stock Exchange as a major axis in supporting the national economy and achieving sustainable development goals.
Moreover, the council discussed in its meeting the reports and recommendations submitted to it by the Committee for Audit, Risk and Security of Information and the Executive Committee, the Nomination Committee, rewards, governance, and Bahrain Clearing Company on the topics that these committees are considered.
