Enok and a source you review qualitative projects in Witix 2025

Dubai, October 2/ WAM/ Officials confirmed that the Water, Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition “Witix”, which concludes its work today at the Dubai World Trade Center, was a major platform for reviewing quality projects and innovative initiatives in the areas of clean energy, sustainability and global expansion.

Hussein Sultan Lootah, Acting CEO of ENOC Group, said in a statement to Emirates News Agency / WAM / on the sidelines of the exhibition, that the event represents a strategic platform to learn about the latest developments in the energy sector, and to meet international companies specialized in the fields of renewable energies and clean technology.

He explained that the group highlights during the exhibition its factory for the production of biological diesel in the country, which is the first of its kind at the level of national oil companies, stressing that this project reflects the “ENOC” commitment to support the goals of national sustainability and in line with the national policy of biofuels that was launched in 2024.

He pointed out that the factory, which is scheduled to start operating during the fourth quarter of 2025, has an annual production capacity of 20 million liters of B5 fuel, and serves a group of prominent customers from the government and private sectors, with a future readiness to expand B5 fuel to B7 to B20, which contributes to enhancing the UAE’s position as a leading position in the field of clean energy.

He added that the project contributes to meeting the needs of factories and companies wishing to use environmentally friendly fuel, as well as enhances the group’s strategic role in raising awareness and providing technical support to companies about the mechanisms of clean energy.

He stressed that the group’s future plans are focused on ensuring the availability of fuel across its stations around the clock, and expanding the production of vital diesel for factories and major contracting companies, as well as strengthening its location as a first resource for aircraft fuel in state airports and the world, noting that the Jabal Ali refinery is an essential axis to meet these strategic needs.

Lootah pointed out that the group’s external expansion is carried out through the company “Horizen”, which specializes in managing fuel storage facilities, which has a presence in several global markets that include Singapore, Morocco (Tangier) and Djibouti, which reflects the group’s strategy in diversifying its activities and expanding its scope of its business.

He pointed out that the group focuses on employing artificial intelligence techniques in improving operational performance, through partnerships with the most prominent international companies and in coordination with the competent authorities in the field of cybersecurity, stressing “Enok” keenness to benefit from national youth competencies in leading the development and innovation march

For his part, Hussein Al -Meir, Director of the Marine Wind Energy Department in the United Kingdom and the world at Masdar Company, said in a statement to Emirates News Agency / WAM / on the sidelines of “Witix 2025” that the company highlights during its participation in the exhibition on its most prominent projects in the field of renewable energy at the local and international levels since its establishment in 2006, and on its current and future projects, with a focus on the sixth stage of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum complex For solar energy, with a capacity of 1800 MW with solar PV technology according to the independent energy product system, providing energy for more than half a million housing and reduces emissions of 2.36 million tons of carbon annually.

He pointed out that the company reviewed its projects in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to international projects in the United Kingdom, while highlighting future plans to expand renewable energy and enhance sustainability in global markets.

Al -Meir stressed that “Masdar” has strengthened her presence in marine wind energy projects through qualitative investments and strategic agreements, most notably the financial closure of an investment of 5.2 billion euros with “Eberdolla” in the East Anglia Three project in the United Kingdom with a capacity of 1.4 GB, which is scheduled to be operated at the end of 2026 to provide about 1.3 million homes with clean electricity.

He added that this also includes the progress of the Dogger Bank South project in partnership with RWE with a combined capacity of up to 3 GB after completing the official examination stage, in addition to expanding partnership with «Eberdolla» with investments of up to 15 billion euros to develop projects in the fields of marine winds and green hydrogen in markets that include the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States, as well as the completion of the Baltic project Eagle in Germany with a capacity of 476 megawatts within the company’s growing portfolio of clean energy projects.
