Retinol or Retinal? .. Golden ingredients race in anti -aging

The “retinol” decades have been the golden component in the skin care routine to combat aging, but recent years have witnessed the rise of a strong competitor, “retainal”, which is described as faster and more effective.

Historically, retinol, a vitamin A derivative, entered into a leather world in the seventies to treat acne, before discovering his effective role in relieving wrinkles and uniform skin tone. However, the mechanism of his work is relatively slow, as it needs two stages of conversion inside the skin to become effective retinoic acid.

As for the retrain, it exceeds the step as it needs only one conversion, which gives it a greater speed in showing the results that may begin to appear within 8 to 12 weeks when using it with low concentrations (0.05 – 0.1%). It also has an anti -bacterial property that makes it suitable for acne.

But its strongest effectiveness may be accompanied by side effects such as irritation, which requires caution in sensitive skin. Some laboratories have developed a laboratory formula for rectal to reduce this effect.

The choice between the two ingredients depends on the type of skin: Artneol is considered a safe option for beginners, while the retinale is more suitable for mature or acne -exposed skin. In all cases, it is advised to use them gradually, at night only, with the necessity of applying a solar condom in the morning, and avoiding them completely during pregnancy and lactation.
