Falaj Al -Mualla Youth Center celebrates"World Space Week"

Umm Al -Quwain on October 2 / WAM / The Falaj Al -Mualla Youth Center, in cooperation with the Ajman Youth Center, organized a forum entitled “Emirati steps to explore the universe”, in conjunction with the World Space Week, and within the framework of the strategy of the Federal Youth Foundation towards empowering young people and enhancing their presence in the fields of science, technology and innovation.

The forum included a session entitled “From space to sustainability … innovative solutions for the future of the earth”, which focused on highlighting the relationship between space exploration and achieving environmental sustainability through advanced scientific and technical solutions, and highlighted the importance of employing space technology to face global challenges in the areas of energy, environment and natural resources.

The Space Point company organized a workshop targeting school students, with the aim of developing their space skills by identifying the steps for building and testing the sub -satellite systems.

Students of Bint Al -Shati School for Basic Education in Falaj Al -Mualla offered a set of innovative projects that embody the creative aspirations of students in space science.

The organizers of the forum emphasized that the event came to keep pace with the leading national achievements in the space sector, foremost of which is the arrival of the UAE in Mars through the “probe of hope”, and the launch of strategic projects that enhance the state’s position as a global destination for scientific research and innovation, noting that investing in youth energies represents a basic pillar to achieve future UAE visions through the manufacture of a generation capable of continuing the march of scientific leadership and exploring new horizons in space and innovation.
