"Abu Dhabi Arabic Language" I review my project "Digital archiving" and"Lumpy" in "Riyadh for the book"

Riyadh, October 3 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, during its participation in the Riyadh International Book Fair 2025, which was launched yesterday by the organization of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority at Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University in the Saudi capital, is two qualitative projects that contribute to enhancing the position of the Arabic language globally and supporting the publishing industry.
The center is investing this participation, which continues until October 11, in highlighting the “digital archiving” project, which aims to convert all its specific documents and content into organized digital formulas, while ensuring their sustainability and availability through advanced and safe digital platforms.
The project uses advanced tools for artificial intelligence in content classification and data extraction, as well as photos of letters on letters, which transforms video documents into digital and processable digital texts, facilitating access to information, supports institutional digital transformation, and enhances the cognitive and cultural value of national content.
The center also reviews the “Barec” project or “Balanced Arab Coat”, a linguistic blog that includes about ten million words, and the project focuses on measuring readiness levels using artificial intelligence tools that determine the level of ease of text automatically, allowing teachers and publishers to choose appropriate texts for each age group, and supports scientific research in the field of computing the Arabic language. The project is implemented in cooperation with the University of New York Abu Dhabi and Zayed University, and the center is obligated to make its resources open to the service of the research community in the Arab and international.
His Excellency Saeed Hamdan Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, stressed that participation in the Riyadh International Book Fair reflects the center’s commitment to the active presence in regional and international cultural forums, in a way that enhances partnerships with cultural and professional institutions in the Kingdom and abroad, indicating that the projects presented this year represents a qualitative shift in supporting the Arab publishing industry, through the development of innovative tools that keep pace with the requirements of the digital age, and enrich Arab content on Regional and global levels.
He said that the exhibition is a strategic platform that brings together culture and publishing makers, a window for displaying experiences and publications, and an important opportunity to enhance new cooperation and partnerships, in a way that opens horizons for developing future initiatives of the center, and enhances its role in consolidating Abu Dhabi’s position as a cultural and regional starting point for intellectual dialogue and cognitive exchange.
The twenty -first meeting of the committee responsible for the book exhibitions in the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, with the participation of a delegation from the center headed by His Excellency Saeed Hamdan Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Center, was held, which reflects the UAE’s commitment to support joint cultural work and enhance the coordination of regional efforts in the publishing industry.
The center displays in its pavilion about 590 titles of its various projects, such as “Word” and “versions” and the series “Insights” for research and studies, as well as highlighting its major cultural initiatives, book exhibitions, and literary prizes that he supervises.
The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center affirms its participation at the Riyadh International Book Fair 2025, its keenness to continue its role in supporting the Arabic language and the publishing industry, and strengthening strategic partnerships with local, regional and international bodies, in a way that contributes to achieving national goals in the fields of culture, knowledge and innovation and promotes the pioneering role of Abu Dhabi in formulating the future of Arab culture.
The Riyadh International Book Fair, which attracts more than 2000 publishing houses and a local and international agency representing about 25 countries, is a major cultural platform that brings together literature, publishing and translation makers from different parts of the world, with the aim of developing the publishing industry, supporting the translation movement, and highlighting the role of the book in shaping human culture.
