" Sharjah Heritage" and "Porto dolls museum" They are looking to enhance cultural cooperation

Porto (Portugal) on October 5/ WAM/ The delegation of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, headed by His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al -Muslim, head of the institute during his visit today, discussed the doll museum in the Portuguese city of Porto and his meeting with Isabelle Barros, director of the museum, aspects of strengthening cultural cooperation between the two sides.
The museum’s organizers gave a full explanation to the delegation about his philosophy based on preserving and displaying the heritage of doll art by presenting artistic pieces and evoking the stories of theatrical performances that were presented over years in addition to revealing the stages of doll industry and how to move them on the stage.
The museum officials emphasized that the fundamental idea is based on highlighting the dolls as a contemporary theatrical art that combines heritage and innovation and gives visitors the opportunity to interact with some dolls and try to move them to understand the relationship between the doll, actor and the public and to emphasize that the dolls are an artistic expressive means capable of transferring feelings and ideas through games.
His Excellency Dr. Abdul Aziz Al -Muslim expressed his appreciation for the cultural role played by the museum in preserving the memory of the doll theater in Porto and its interactive and visual in front of the audience, indicating that such rich experiences represent a bridge of cultural exchange and the promotion of human dialogue through folklore and heritage arts.
