UAE athletics raises its balance to 12 medals in West Asia

The national team won five new medals (three golds and two silvers), in the third West Asian Youth and Women Championship under 20, “Beirut 2025” on the penultimate day, raising its score to 12 medals in second place in the overall ranking, including seven golds, four silver, and bronze.
The first gold of the runner, Suleiman Abdul Rahman, came in a 400 -meter youth race, with a time of 46.09 seconds, and his colleague Aminat Qamar Al -Din, the second golden golden in the 400 -meter young women, achieved 53.89 seconds, and Salma Al -Marri won the golden hammer’s overthrow of the young women, with a distance of 48.95 meters. The runner Aisha Mohamed crowned the silver of the 400 -meter young race, achieving 54.5 seconds, and the second silver team achieved the 4th relay race at 100 meters young women, with a time of 54.61 seconds.
A member of the Athletics Federation, Jamila Abdullah Abdul Rahman, said: “The distinguished results of the team’s champions and heroes in the West Asian Championship confirm the qualitative boom in competitive levels in the world championships, and the great value of promising elements.”
